Our methods

VenaSealTM (vein glue)

The vein glue VenaSeal has emerged as a genuine and highly effective alternative in the last ten years. In contrast to other procedures, the VenaSeal method does not require heat, sclerosing, or anesthesia. The diseased vein is sealed with the VenaSeal procedure. The doctor uses the VenaSeal system to place a small amount of specially designed adhesive into the diseased vein. This eliminates the risk of injuring nerves when treating the small saphenous vein. The glue is used to close the diseased vein and divert the blood to healthy surrounding veins. Therapy with anticoagulant medication, on the other hand, is possible.

Radiofrequency Treatment (EVRA)

Endovascular procedures (EVRA) use heat to damage or irritate the inner lining of the vein wall, causing the vein to spasm and thus occlude.

In radiofrequency therapy, a thin tube (catheter) is inserted into the vein through a small incision. The catheter is then heated by passing an electric current through it to seal the vein from the inside out. After the treatment, the incision is closed, and a compression bandage is applied. Recovery after radiofrequency ablation of varicose veins can vary from patient to patient. However, patients can usually return to their normal activities after a few days. Wearing compression stockings for a week is recommended to help the healing process.

Microfoam (or Varixfoaming) treatment

Venous sclerotherapy is a method of treating varicose veins that is already over a hundred years old.

Varicose veins refer to veins that have become enlarged or obstructed. A typical identifying feature is a snake or branch-shaped bulge that stands out clearly from the skin, often with a lump formation. Varicose veins appear mainly on the legs. This is because the veins in the legs must work the most against gravity to pump blood to the heart.

In rare cases, however, they can also appear on other body parts. Varicose veins are not only a visual problem but can also cause heavy and painful legs and secondary diseases. It is all the more important to recognize and treat them early.

The ELVeS®️ Radial®️ Laser Procedure for Varicose Vein Treatment

So-called radial laser systems are used to treat diseased vein sections. This is a procedure in which laser energy is emitted at the diseased vein wall. Due to the resulting thermal effect, the diseased vein can be treated well. It is irrelevant here how large the diameter of the corresponding vein is. Therefore, they can be used for both severe cases of varicose veins as well as for varicose veins that are in the very early stages of development. This also includes varicose veins developed after a previous operation (recurrent varicose veins).
