Medical training and professional career

Dr. Macho began his surgical career at the Evangelische Elisabeth Klinik Berlin, where he gained in-depth experience in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery.

His special talent for surgical precision and his structured approach were already evident here – qualities that were to have a decisive influence on his future career.

Specialization and managerial activity at the Eberswalde Clinic

Dr. Macho then worked for many years at the Werner Forßmann Clinic in Eberswalde, where he continued to develop and eventually became a senior physician. During this time, he specialized intensively in hernia and thoracic surgery.

He was in charge of the hernia and thoracic consultations with comprehensive sonographic diagnostics (including hernia sonography) and was significantly involved in the further development and organization of the surgical care spectrum.

Interdisciplinary skills: pediatric surgery, intensive care medicine, emergency medical service

Another focus of his medical development was his rotation in pediatric surgery and intensive care medicine, which allowed him to gain valuable interdisciplinary experience.

For several years, Dr. Macho also worked as an emergency doctor in the ambulance service – an activity that further honed his decision-making skills, resilience and rapid clinical assessment.

Specialist in thoracic surgery in preparation (planned July 2025)

The second specialist certification in thoracic surgery is currently imminent (planned for July 2025), which means that Dr. Macho will have an exceptionally well-founded dual qualification in two highly complex surgical disciplines.
