Arterial and venous diseases

The VenaZiel®Vein Center specializes in diagnosing and treating many arterial and venous diseases. Among them are:

May-Thurner syndrome

May-Thurner syndrome causes the left iliac vein to narrow due to pressure from the right iliac artery. Over time, this narrowing can cause uncomfortable symptoms, including leg pain, swelling, and cramping.

Pelvic congestion syndrome

Pelvic congestion syndrome occurs when the veins in your pelvis enlarge due to pregnancy or other hormonal changes. As the condition progresses, your veins fill with blood and change shape, leading to chronic pelvic pain.

Other vascular diseases

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
  • Superficial venous thrombosis
  • Postthrombotic syndrome
  • Spider veins
  • Venous ulcers
  • Peripheral aneurysm
  • Face and hand veins
  • Rosacea

Common symptoms that indicate an arterial or venous disorder include foot or leg pain, numbness or heaviness with your legs, or ankle discoloration.

The VenaZiel® vein center also offers cosmetic treatments for various vascular conditions such as spider veins, rosacea, and facial and hand veins.

Do you have an increased risk of circulatory disturbance of the leg vessels, stroke, or heart attack?

Do you suspect varicose veins, or have they already been diagnosed?

With the help of thorough vascular diagnostics, problems can be identified early, and severe secondary diseases can be averted.
