VenaZiel: Recognized observation center for VenaSeal treatments
Successful Masterclass event: an overview
On the first day, May 29, 2024, the theoretical part took place at the VenaZiel Venenzentrum Berlin Friedrichstraße. The basics and the latest findings on VenaSeal treatment were presented here. The event attracted participants from all over Germany, who met in the afternoon to discuss treatment options based on the clinical and sonographic findings of the patients on the following day. In an impressive presentation, Dr. Mahoozi showed the national and international differences in the treatment of varicosis and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) of the truncal veins and illustrated the clear advantages of minimally invasive therapies compared to conventional vein stripping surgery.
Practical part: Successful interventions and demonstrations
The second day, May 30, 2024, was the surgery day. From 08:30 to 13:00, a total of five procedures were performed, including two ClosureFast treatments with two veins each and three VenaSeal treatments with three veins each. The participants were particularly impressed by the therapies themselves and the highly professional handling by Dr. Mahoozi and his team.
Advantages of minimally invasive therapies
Endothermic ablation using ClosureFast proved to be a safe and reliable procedure. The newer, non-thermal VenaSeal procedure was in no way inferior and was also characterized by a high level of patient comfort. At least two to three insufficient truncal veins were treated in each procedure, underlining the effectiveness and versatility of these minimally invasive methods.
High standards and professional implementation
The digital practice concept at the VenaZiel Vein Centre is highly standardized, resulting in a smooth process, increased patient safety and seamless documentation. These standards contributed significantly to the success of the workshop and left a lasting impression on the participants. We would like to thank Dr. Mahoozi, who, despite his training character, put the patients first. This motivates us to plan further Masterclass trainings at the VenaZiel Vein Center. Due to the successful outcome, we are already planning another workshop on November 6/7, 2024.
Future workshops and registration
We are delighted with the positive feedback and the interest shown by doctors in further training courses. For further information and to register for the upcoming workshops, please contact us by e-mail at h.mahoozi@venaziel.de.
About the VenaZiel Vein Center
The VenaZiel Vein Center in Friedrichstrasse is known for its expertise in the treatment of vein problems. As an observation center for VenaSeal treatments, it offers doctors the opportunity to learn and apply the latest minimally invasive techniques. Under the direction of Dr. Mahoozi, the center relies on innovative methods and the highest medical standards to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
What is VenaSeal?
VenaSeal is a minimally invasive method for treating varicose veins, in which a special medical adhesive is used to seal the affected vein. This method is particularly gentle and offers patients a quick recovery and a high level of comfort.
Advantages of the VenaSeal method
- High patient comfort: VenaSeal does not require anesthesia, which makes the treatment less uncomfortable.
- Rapid recovery: Patients can often return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure.
- Effectiveness: The method has proven to be extremely effective in the treatment of insufficient veins.
- Minimally invasive: The procedure is less invasive than traditional methods such as vein stripping.
