In this article, we explain in detail why sitting and standing for long periods of time is a challenge for your veins, which symptoms indicate possible problems and which scientifically proven measures really help.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why are our veins so sensitive to long periods of sitting and standing?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The veins in our legs are dependent on transporting blood back to the heart against the force of gravity.
