Diagnosis is made using duplex ultrasound, a painless procedure without radiation. A blood test (D-dimer test) may also be performed as an additional measure.

If acute thrombosis is suspected, we offer emergency appointments on the same day or the next day. For preventive check-ups, you will usually receive an appointment within a week.
